FEATURES
	The pump follows a basic principle of the reciprocating suction pump.
	Lifting capacity does not exceed 5 meters (15 feet below- ground level)
		Suitable for lifting water from surface water bodies like rivers, ponds, lakes, canals, wells, tanks, etc.,
		Also suitable for pumping from shallow aquifers through small diameter tube wells
		Can also be used for draining waterlogged areas.
	High discharge of water - approximately 6000 litres per hour.
	It consists of two barrels, plungers and pedals, and is operated by one person, standing on the foot pedals.
	The Pedal Pump can be supplied with hot dip galvanised MS fabricated pump stand and MS support pipes designed for durability and corrosion resistance. Other components are:
		5 meters of rigid or flexible mPVC/HDPE suction pipe with GI nipple
		Spare parts kits for two or five years' normal operations are available.
	Can be operated by all members of a farming family, including children.
	The pump is portable. One person can move it to different locations with minimum effort as it weighs between 17 Kg to 25 Kg only.
	Low operating costs for an irrigation application. No electricity or fuel is required and the pump has minimal maintenance needs.
	Low capital cost, as the whole system can be installed by the farmers themselves, with no need of skilled help.
